Christmas In July 2024
It was an enthusiastic group who met at Kuraby on a beautiful Sunday morning for our cruise to Montville for our Christmas in July Celebration.
First of all we cruised to Esk for lunch at The Grand Esk Hotel which was very nice with a great group of people.
After lunch, we continued on our way to Montville where we stayed at The Montville Mountain Inn where, after settling in we gathered at the Pergola for a few drinks and nibbles.
Low and Behold Santa and his helper flew in just for us and went about distributing our secret Santa gifts, which got everyone in the mood for the night ahead.
Later, we wandered next door to the Bar and Grill to enjoy a Traditional Christmas dinner and what a great time we had, and another Santa appeared, which led me to believe one of them was a fake.<I wonder which one>
So, after a good night's rest, we again met for Breakfast at The Edge Cafe, which again was very tasty.
Later, some of us headed home while others spent time wandering around the shops before going to the Flame Hill Winery, for you guessed it another few drinks and tasty treats before heading home.
And that, my friends, is where our story ends with our weekend in Montville with the best bunch of people you will ever meet.
