Club Christmas Cruise

It was a beautiful sunny evening on the 18th of November when the Club Corvetteers gathered at the Southbank Jetty for our Christmas Cruise on The Lady in Red Cruise Boat. There were 60 enthusiastic revellers who bordered the boat claiming their free drink to get the Party started.

David and Nick had organised a good variety of music so there was plenty of entertainment and soon we  made our way down stairs for dinner which was a section of meats salads and prawns with a dessert later on

After dinner the Party really ramped up, possibly due to the alcohol being consumed ,also the lucky door prizes were drawn and  Carol with her very clever Cracker Costume and Doug with his classy Red suit won the best dressed prizes. Also our annual Donations to Camp Quality and Wounded Heroes were presented by our illustrious President

And then the dancing really got under way with the music tempo lifting and we got to see personalities come to the fore. Damian from Camp Quality won the Time Warp Dance off with Shelley coming a close second. It was great to see everybody getting involved and having a great time

All in all it was a really great night and I would like to congratulate David Mark Shelley and the team for organising it
