David Hack Classic Meet
The David Hack Classic Show in Toowoomba is only ONCE per year and we were blessed with a perfect day and not Cold.
A group of us left SHELL Rocklea at 6.30am on Sunday 19th May 2024, and proceeded up Ipswich road towards Toowoomba. A few Corvettes and other cars met our Convoy near COSTCO, and we all proceeded towards our destination.
The Convoy was quite impressive, and thanks to Rachel Lewis, we got some great photos. This year, the entry time into the field of Toowoomba Aerodome was quite quick. 17 Corvettes all lined in a row looked stunning, and another 5 Corvettes near the Museum Hangar. The white C8 ZO6 looked very impressive. Apparently, the owner is a local business person.
Les Donges, our LOCAL Club Member, managed to get a photo of himself with his 1973 Corvette in the Toowoomba paper.
All in all a great day a big selection of Classic cars and also some old aeroplanes on show. The majority of Corvettes were QCC members, so thank you for supporting our Club.
We will be doing this again at the same time-next year.
