What an incredible day it turned out to be!

The sun shone brightly without a single drop of rain in sight. 7 Corvettes and one stylish Camaro graced the event with their presence.

At Marburg, amidst a gathering of approximately 200 diverse cars and a lively crowd, we settled in. Despite the slight delay in getting refreshments,

I have not been to Lakeside Park Raceway for a few years, so on 28th April 2024 i decided to meet up with fellow Corvetters at Shell Nudgee for a 6.30am departure, to Lakeside.

This event is done in conjunction with the Pontiac Club, so with our 20 Corvettes, a few Pontiacs and several Camaros, it made for an impressive line-up.

Although only 3 members attended the half-day event in aid of Variety Australia children's charity, it was great to catch up with them, and also meet other passionate car owners who made the effort to attend.

This is the second year of the event, which will now be held annually, due to the management at Pat Rafter Arena getting fully

75 Club members came to the Glen Hotel Marque to enjoy a fabulous evening with the theme of Green Glitz and Glamour, where they enjoyed a delicious meal with a massive cake organised by Carol.

What a great event this was that Canberra corvettes had put on.

Although I got off to a rocky start, I'm glad I made the journey.

It was a great opportunity to meet other members from other clubs and an insight into what they do.

We went on two great cruises and the weather in Canberra was perfect.

Rosewood Hotel Cruise and Lunch

We met as per usual at The Springwood Hotel for a cruise to the Historic Rosewood Hotel

After a very pleasant 1-hour drive, we parked up and made ourselves at home in the Restaurant, where the 28 Corveteers enjoyed a very nice meal and a few drinks.

All in all, it was a very pleasant

It was a disappointingly small but enthusiastic group of Corvetteers that met at The Springwood Hotel for a short cruise to The Oxley Golf Course for a fun but at times infuriating 18 holes of mini-golf. As it turned out, the people we were playing made it a very enjoyable day and after the game we headed upstairs for a couple of drinks and a nice

Thanks to all those who braved the elements today at the club's first charity car show, in this case for the benefit of Camp Quality. The on and off rain kept many away understandably, but the 18 cars that did attend made quite a spectacle.
