Club Christmas Cruise
It was a beautiful sunny evening on the 18th of November when the Club Corvetteers gathered at the Southbank Jetty for our Christmas Cruise on The Lady in Red Cruise Boat. There were 60 enthusiastic revellers who bordered the boat claiming their free drink to get the Party started.

We had 19 people attend. Starting the day off with a great lunch before heading down to play, and although the temperatures did get into the thirties, the event was all undercover, making for a pleasant afternoon.
Ann Beliveau provided some expert guidance throughout the time we were there, as many had not played lawn bowls before.

On Sunday the 1st of October 23 Merry Corvetteers met at the Springwood Tavern carpark for a cruise to Porters Hotel in Plainlands .
After a relaxing jaunt through the countryside we arrived at our destination finding that it is obviously a very popular place withe the carpark full and us needing to park on the grass verge

The Corvettes in Brisbane 2023 car show was a dazzling display of American automotive prowess, showcasing the iconic Corvette lineage in all its glory. Held at Jindalee DFO, this event left attendees captivated by the raw power and exquisite craftsmanship of these legendary vehicles.

Saturday 16th September was the monthly QCC Dinner, with16 members attending Panchos Pizza at Carina Bowls Club.
Thanks to Gail for attending even though Doug had to go to hospital;we hope Doug is OK.
It was great to catch up with fellow Corvetters.The meals were excellent and well worth the wait.Thanks to Glenys Gocs for suggesting

The Pontiac and Corvette Clubs + 2 Mustangs & 1 Porshe hit Lakeside Park on Sunday
September 10 for Breakfast and Happy Laps. In perfect weather we had a full half hour to
circulate on the track with approx. 30 participating vehicles.
This followed our breakfast for the 40
people in our group. We were the warmup

We all met up at Auto One Browns Plains for a 6.50am departure, we then headed down the Mount Lindsay Highway to the Beaudesert High School, easy access to the parking area, and it was also quick to register.
In all we had 11 cars travel to the event with one more joining us there, so 12 cars in total, certainly we were the best represented

Was a good event at the Corvette Australia Express Parts Car Show, with a good turnout with 10 corvettes, including a couple of C8's

Saturday 19th August was the QCC Monthly Dinner. 15 Members attended the Gateway of
India Restaurant in Springwood, which seems to be the average number these days. It
was great to see Wayne and Greg, fairly new Members, attend with their partners Deborah
